Starting early, Jeremiah Clarke’s Suite for Trumpet and Organ pealed out the stark brilliance of Baroque, both in the West Organ and Elton’s razor-sharp piccolo trumpet; sparse chords leaving no place to hide in the prelude, The Duke of Gloster’s March.
